Long:

My name's Kristine, but sometimes go by Elissa on the internet. I was born on July 21, 1991, whichs makes me 17 at the present moment. I live somewhere in the beautiful country of Canada. I enjoy graphic design, reading, swimming, listening to music, English, French and Spanish classes, summer, hot weather, muffins and chocolate. I despise rice, winter, math, science and my grade 10 civics teacher. I don't take much, and I hate talking about myself (so be thankful your getting this!).
I started making fanart about 3 years ago, when I was 12 going on 13. One day I saw a signature on my favourite forum and wondered how in the world anybody made such a beautiful thing. I was told I could make it in Paint Shop Pro 9. The next day I asked my dad about it and it turned out we had the program! As it turned out, it was actually a brush that created the effect that I wanted, but I didn't know that. Still, I was hooked. About a year ago, I switched to Photoshop 7, and a couple of months back I got CS2. I have no idea if my work is any good, or if my style has any originality, but I love fanart and that's good enough for me.
I opened my first website in 2005, called Sheena's Svit. It was a Piczo site and it served it's perpose for awhile. Soon my sister started learning HTML, so I decided to too. I was amazed at what could be done and immediatly wanted to put my new found knowledge to use. Piczo didn't support HTML or anything else really, so I moved to Freewebs, where I am currently hosted. I hope to buy a domain in the future once I have some money to spend.
